Our Mission

The mission of Joy Life Ministry is to bring people into God's family for healing and learning through the power of the Holy Spirit and send out his disciples to impact the world.

The Four Biblical Pictures of the Church

> God's Family (Eph. 2:12-14; 1 Cor 12:12-27; John 13:34): We believe that the local church is God's family with a loving heart of Jesus forgiving and accepting one another to creat an authentic community of God.

> God's Hospital (Matt. 9:9-13; Matt. 11:28; Matt 14:35-36; Acts 5:12-14): We believe that the local church is God's hospital with a healing power of Jesus restoring broken hearts to live a joy-filled life again.

> God's School (Eph. 4:15; 2 Tim.3:16-17, 2 Peter 3:17-18): We believe that the local church is God's school with a living truth of Jesus teaching and equipping God's people to live a life worth living.

> God's Army (Eph. 6:11; 2 Tim 2:3-4; 1 Cor. 9:7; Matt. 28:19-20; John 16:33): We believe that the local church is God's army with a complete obedience to Jesus proclaming the kingdom of God to become the salt and light of the world.

Pastor Steven Kim

After graduating from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Pastor Steven came to San Francisco to serve Joy Life Ministry in 2004. It is his prayer that God uses him to communicate His love and truth and help His people find thier purposes of life in Jesus Christ.
